The code developed has been written and updated based on knowledge gained through the production of the Salisbury / West Dorset Planning Portal and the Dorset For You Portal.

Software developers at Tech4U Limited have implemented and continue to support the Gosport Planning website which has proved to be a significant success for the authority. The Gosport Planning site delivers up-to-date planning information and documents via the councils web site. The site is built using Microsoft's dotnet framework technology and integrates seamlessly with Hummingbirds document and records management solution. More recently Tech4U consultants have assisted staff at Winchester City Council in the development of their online Planning site.  The Winchester site is again fully integrated with the back-office planning and Opentext EDRM systems.
