Tech4U Limited is an independent consultancy focused on the issues of transformation faced by local authorities. We have worked closely with a number of UK local authorities supporting them through their transformation programmes. We help local authorities and other public sector organisations achieve transformational change by delivering real improvements in customer service, and by producing significant efficiency savings. Having worked in the local government market for a number of years we are well aware of the funding and timing constraints that local councils are faced with.

Tech4U realise the need for its consultants to specialise in specific business areas and, whilst being aware of the overall agenda for change within loacal government, have chosen to focus on the following areas:

  • Electronic Document and Records management Systems
    Tech4U has worked with a number of authorities helping local authorities design, specify and build their record management systems. Tech4U brings the skills required to help you: write the policies for best practice records management, build the business cases you need manage your project and successfully deliver your system on time and to cost.

  • PARSOL Planning Consultants
    Tech4U have been approved by the PARSOL national project as consultants for local authority Planning. Our consultants have a wide range of skills in this area and, being original members of the PARSOL project board, are well versed in the guidance created by this project.     Tech4U consultants have provided played a key role in the online planning websites for Winchester City Council, Gosport Borough Council, Dacorum Borough Council and the Dorset for You consortium.

  • Photographic and Video services
    A new venture for Tech4U limited, we are investing heavily in the development of expertise to enable us to provide an affordable service to local councils enabling them to record and broadcast multimedia material. Tech4U can also supply high quality photographic material from stock or taken at your locality.

  • Commercial Web Sites
    Tech4U provide a range of support services both to local government and local businesses. Our website design team currently deliver a number of sites within the video distribution market as well as retail advertising. Tech4U is also pleased to support the Hope08 project in the provision of the Hope08Dorset website.
